Chocolate Pudding (Homemade)

I make this all the time, and just keep it in serving size containers in the fridge.  Once you eat this pudding, you will never want to go back to those store bought pudding packs.



  • 6 tablespoons cocoa (heaping)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


Wisk cocoa, sugar, flour, salt, and milk.  Microwave the mixture 2 minutes at a time (stirring between intervals) until boils.  Then add butter and vanilla.  Put in serving size dishes and let set up in refrigerator.  For a special treat, top with whipped cream.
