I have decorated so many Birthday cakes with this frosting. It is my “go to”!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
Directions
In a large bowl, cream butter and shortening until light and fluffy. Add the remaining ingredients. Beat well. Add flavoring and color.
