Red Cranberry Salad

A long time ago, we went to church with the wonderful lady in Austin.  She brought this each year to the church’s Thanksgiving lunch.  I looked forward to it every time.

Ingredients

  • 1 large package of raspberry jello
  • Dissolve in only 2 cups of boiling water
  • 1 package cranberries, ground
  • To the ground berries add one orange (cut up) and 1 cup of sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese – cut into small bits
  • 16 oz crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 apple, chopped (do not peel)

Directions

Stir all this together, and then add jello.

Put in a big dish and chill.
