Harvest Apple Pie

2 pie crust doughs

6 medium size apples

1 tablespoon corn starch

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons melted butter

1/3 cup dark corn syrup


1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

3 tablespoons dark corn syrup

2 tablespoons soft butter

1/4 cup chopped pecans

Prepare pastry for 2 crust pie. Fill bottom shell with sliced apples. Combine corn starch, cinnamon, salt, sugar, butter, and syrup. Pour over apples. Cover with top crust and bake at 425 for 45 minutes or until brown.

To top: Mix all topping ingredients, Spread over top. Return to oven for 10 minutes or until it bubbles.
