Sour Cream Twists

3 3/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter

Mix these ingredients like pie crust.

Dissolve 1 package dry yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

Beat 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla together. Add yeast mix.

Mix all ingredients together, cover bowl tightly and refrigerate overnight.

NEXT DAY: Work 1/2 dough at a time. Mix 3/4 cup sugar and 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla together to use like flour when rolling dough into rectangle. Fold into thirds. Roll again into rectangle about 4” wide and cut into 1”x 4” strips. Twist and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes @ 350 º.
