Strawberry Sauce

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1/4 cup cornstarch

3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon strawberry jello

2 cups strawberries (sliced or pureed)

Mix together sugar, water, cornstarch and strawberry jello.  Cook on the stove until thick.  This will turn a bright red like sweet and sour sauce when done.  Turn off stove and stir while it cools.  Add about 2 cups of strawberries (either sliced or pureed or some of each).
