Sopapilla Cheese Cake

Blend: 3 (8oz) packages of cream cheese

          1 1/2 cups of sugar

          1 teaspoon of vanilla

Layer: (In a 9×13 pan)

          1 can of crescent rolls

          Cream cheese mixture

          1 can of crescent rolls

Melt:  1 stick of butter and drizzle over layers


1/2 cup sugar mixed with 2 teaspoons cinnamon over top

Bake:  30-45 minutes in a 350° oven

Well, I have been taking credit for this dessert.  I have made it many times, and a lot of people ask me for the recipe.  They call it Portia’s Sopapilla Cheese Cake.  The truth is that I got the recipe from Beverly Rose.  She is David’s Co-Worker.  It is so good to get that off of my chest.  Sorry Beverly, I just wish it were mine.
