Green Sour Cream Enchiladas

This recipe is a huge hit with everyone who eats it.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can green enchilada sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small can chopped green chilies
  • 1 dozen flour tortillas
  • 1 can milk (fill empty soup can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb grated Colby Jack Cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon fresh garlic

Directions

Heat oven to 350.  In large sauce pan, brown beef.

Then add all ingredients except tortillas and cheese.  Bring sauce to a boil then remove from heat.  Pour 1/3 of sauce mixture into bottom of 9×13 pan.  Put grated cheese in rolled tortillas in pan and pour remaining sauce on top.  Top with any leftover cheese.  Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbling.
