Build a Mountain (Polynesian)

Ingredients & Directions

Line up the eleven dishes in the order below. Pile the ingredients on your plate, starting with step one (the rice), and build a mountain. Then dig in and enjoy!

  1. Six to eight cups cooked rice
  2. Chicken in gravy. (I usually stew a chicken, take the meat off the bone, and use the broth for making the gravy.)
  3. Four sliced tomatoes
  4. Two cups chopped raw onions
  5. Eleven ounces crispy Chow Mein noodles
  6. One cup sliced celery
  7. Seven ounces sliced green olives (or black if preferred)
  8. Twelve ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  9. One can crushed pineapple
  10. One cup sliced almonds
  11. One small package coconut
