Main Dishes Vicki


We eat this very often.  It is easy and so good.  I am surprised that I still like it because I have very vivid memories of having to pick up rice from under the table whenever we had this for dinner.  It was not my favorite chore, and seeing as I was the oldest of five, there was a lot of rice!  I am so glad that I have a dog now to do that job for me.



  • 1 pound ground beef (browned)
  • 1 cup onions
  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups bullion cubes (in liquid)
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red peppers
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds


Cook in electric skillet at 350° for 30 minutes or until thick.
