Praline Sundae Topping


  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 3/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 24 large marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoon light corn syrup or waffle syrup
  • Dash salt
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Melt butter in a saucepan. Add brown sugar, marshmallows, corn syrup, salt, and evaporated milk. Cook & stir over low heat until marshmallow are melted and mixture comes to a boil.  Boil for 1 minute.  Remove from the heat; cool for 5 minutes.  Stir in pecans and vanilla; mix well. Serve warm or cold over ice cream.  Store in refrigerator.
