Ingredients (Cake)
- 1 1/2cups oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups diced apples
- 1 cup nuts
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions (Cake)
Mix oil and sugar well. Continue mixing in eggs, flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Stir in apples, nuts, and vanilla. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
Ingredients (Sauce)
- 1 cube of butter
- 3/4 cups canned milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons rum
Directions (Sauce)
Boil 5 minutes and then remove from heat. Add rum flavoring.
Cut cake and place on plate, pour rum sauce over just before serving.
