Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

In large bowl, combine oil and sugar; add egg.  Beat well.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Add flour to firm so you can shape into balls.  Roll in sugar.  Place on greased cookie sheet 3 inches apart.  Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.  I put about 1 tablespoon per cookie.  Large and delicious.
